One of my favorite Windows 7 amenities is thumbnail previews, which appear when you mouse over any running program in the taskbar.
In fact, each thumbnail has a little red X in the upper-right corner, meaning you can close that program without first having to maximize it.
iTunes takes this a step further by adding player controls.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the thumbnail sports three little icons: previous track, play/pause, and next track.

Today's hint is an AppleScript that will toggle the visibility of the sidebar in all open Finder windows.

It's surprising that Yelp, the go-to site for finding restaurants, bars and other venues, has no presence in the Android Market.

If you do not know your screen-size, go to your desktop and right-click your mouse.

Throughout the last decade, electronic devices have become pervasive in almost every aspect of our lives, from work to communication to entertainment.
These mobile devices improve productivity, increase access to information, connect us in ways we never thought possible and provide incredibly rich multimedia experiences.
However, they still require users to act as the interface from the device to the world.

1) To begin with, you must have a Dropbox account.
If you don't have one, go to http://www.dropbox.com right now and download the software, install it, and then set up your account.
I also suggest watching the video on the Dropbox home page to understand the concept behind the application and service (or reading some of our previous Dropbox coverage ).
2) Once you've installed the Dropbox software and have familiarized yourself with it, you're ready to roll.

Google has just revealed its most ambitious undertaking to date, Chrome OS, a new operating system which intends to push the concept in a new direction by moving everything to the cloud.
While this game-changing approach is very exciting and raises a lot of questions about the future of operating systems, the web and convergence of the two, the fact is that the first thing most people wanted to know is what it looks like and how has Google tackled the challenge of just having a browser and no other native
