If you're looking for MondoMouse-like functionality in Snow Leopard, another option is Zooom , which offers similar features, as well as a few extras.
Like MondoMouse, Zooom lets you move any window by holding down your choice of modifier keys (I use Command+Option) when the cursor is anywhere over that window; the window gracefully follows your cursor.
You can resize the window by holding down a different set of modifier keys (I use Control+Option); the window's nearest two edges grow or shrink as you mo

After yesterday's post about tweaking Firefox 3.6 so that it opens new tabs to the far right , just like all previous versions of Firefox, I realized there's one other tip that goes hand-in-hand with that: tweaking Firefox to immediately switch to the newly opened tab.
Normally, when you click a link that opens a new tab (or hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link, which forces a new tab to open), Firefox doesn't actually switch to that tab.

I've been frustrated as of late with the Windows 7 taskbar (which led me to try hot-dogging it on the left-hand side as detailed here —by the way GREAT and useful tips in the 331 comments!).
The fundamental problem was that you needed two clicks to navigate to your document if you have two instances of a program running.
Or you're stuck with hovering for what feels like an eternity.

On Windows, when you've finished using a particular piece of software, you close it with the X symbol in the top right corner of the application window.
Many switchers assume that the window close control in the top left of an OS X application window does the same job: but that's not quite true.
On Windows machines, when you close the window, you close the app. But on a Mac, when you close the window, that's all you do: just close the window.

Says company president Bruce Boyarsky, The addition of the VijukG&K V-14 Folder has allowed us to produce many jobs in a fraction of the time it used to take, and we are now able to get down to 5/8 without a problem.
The ease of set up, the consistency of the production run, and the folders reliability make the Vijuk a great asset for our company.

There are some mockups of what could be BlackBerry OS 6 circulating and while it's not clear whether the images are just conceptual or they're actually going to be implemented, it's still interesting to see what RIM might be working on.
The mockups tell us surprisingly little about what to expect in OS 6, except for that if they're real, we can expect RIM to move away from traditional icons and towards a more dynamic homescreen environment.
Personally, I think this is a great idea and while some think t

Earlier today, Google pushed updates to both the Chrome beta and dev channels.
The good news?
Apart from other minor patches and fixes users of both testing versions on Windows 7 now see per-tab taskbar thumbnail previews.
